Programming Binary Images
Methods
The Cuica provides two primary methods for programming a DUT: ad hoc programming for quick, direct interaction and Binary Image bank programming for repeatable and automated workflows.
Ad Hoc
To program the DUT without first importing the Binary Image into the Binary Image bank, the "ad hoc" programming endpoint can be used. This method uses the default DUT and Deployer configurations as defined in the system settings of the Cuica. It is particularly useful for one-time programming tasks or quick testing of new Binary Images.
Binary Image Bank
Once a Binary Image is imported into the Binary Image bank, it can be programmed manually at any time using the program endpoints. Additionally, it can be automatically programmed as part of a Test Case within a Test Suite. This method is ideal for maintaining a library of tested Binary Images and automating their deployment in repeatable workflows.
